Privacy Policy

Sun Valley Wealth Management, LLC (“SV”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) considers the privacy of its clients and website visitors (collectively “Visitors”) to be of fundamental importance, and we established a policy to maintain the confidentiality of the information you share with us. We operate www.sunvalleywealth.com (together with other websites owned and/or operated by SV, shall be referred to as “the SV Sites”). This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, protection, and disclosure of personal information (“Personal Information”). Unless otherwise defined in this Policy, terms used in this Policy have the same meanings as common usage.

Information We Collect. The Personal Information we collect directly from you includes information required to communicate with you and effectively address your needs as transmitted via the SV Sites. Personal Information collected may include: Your name, email address, phone number, and any information sent via the message box on the SV Sites.

How Information is Used. Information is used to follow up, either by email or phone, with Visitors who have requested information and/or submitted inquiries to the SV Sites, and as otherwise permitted by law.

How We Protect Your Personal Information. SV takes commercially reasonable steps to protect Visitors’ information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction in accordance with applicable law. We regularly review our security procedures to consider appropriate new technology and methods. Due to the nature of the Internet and Internet technologies, we cannot eliminate privacy risks completely. Therefore, SV cannot guarantee that information will not be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Policy.

Disclosure of Information. SV may disclose your Personal Information in the good faith belief that such action is necessary, including, but not limited to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of SV
  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the SV Sites
  • Protect the personal safety of users of the Visitors or the public
  • Protect against legal liability

Storage. The information shared by you on the SV Sites is forwarded to the info@sunvalleywealth.com email address to respond to any inquiry submitted. Any Personal Information submitted to the SV Sites will remain in meta form with our web host, WP Engine (“WP”). WP is accessed by SV through a secure username and password.

Tracking and Cookies Data. While SV does not use cookies to gather information during your visit, WP may use cookies to login.

Telephone Consumer ProtectionBy providing your personal information (telephone number and email address) via the SV Sites and clicking ‘Submit,’ you agree to be contacted by Sun Valley Wealth at (833) 282-7272, through a live agent, artificial or prerecorded voice, and automated SMS text at your residential or cellular number (whichever provided) dialed manually or by auto dialer, and by email. To opt out of future messaging, respond with “stop.”

Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its advertising network. That data may be stored for up to 14 months. Links to Other Sites. The SV Sites may contain links to other sites not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every website that you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for any third-party sites or services’ content, privacy policies, or practices.

Minor’s Privacy. SV does not correspond with, nor does it pursue, the business of anyone under the age of 18 (“Minor(s)”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Minors. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your Minor has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a Minor without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove the information immediately.

California and Virginia Visitors. Californian visitors to the SV Sites have additional rights afforded to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) https://oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA, effective January 1, 2023) https://cppa.ca.gov/regulations/. Virginian visitors to the SV Sites also have additional rights afforded to them under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA, effective January 1, 2023) https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacodefull/title59.1/chapter53/.

Changes to This Privacy Policy. We may update this Policy occasionally to reflect our current practice and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Please check periodically to receive notice of any substantive changes to how the information you disclose on the SV Sites may be collected, used, or disseminated. When we post changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page.
